class=\"ekit-team-modal-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDr. Mhanni is a Clinician Scientist in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health, in the Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba, Canada, and the Children\u2019s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba. He is a is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, and a Fellow of the Canadian College of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. <br><br>\nDr. Mhanni's clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of inborn errors of metabolism (IEM). His focus in clinical research has primarily been concerned with the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of these disorders. He completed an 18-month academic leave (2018\/2019) working with colleagues in UAE focusing on developing new approaches to the diagnosis and management of Inherited Metabolic-Genetic diseases, and the development of local educational specialty (SEHA) in addition to her\npart time practice in ambulatory paediatrics. Her current work entails\noverseeing all clinical research activities in SEHA varying from ethical review\nof projects, clinical trials, governance and data monetization in addition to\nindustry engagement with stakeholders. She completed further training in\nclinical research in Harvard Medical School with a focus on clinical trials.\nShe was selected to be part of the National Artificial Intelligence Program in\nthe UAE lead by Oxford University and completed her training of the program and\nserves as part of the AI network initiate in UAE. Mariam completed her master\ndegree in Leadership and Innovation in Healthcare from RCSI and is currently\nfinishing her executive education program with London Business School. She is\nalso an adjunct assistant professor in the College of Medicine Khalifa\nUniversity. She has several publications and serves as a reviewer for different\njournals.
